DAC for PS3

To all the guys using a PS3 as their bluray/cd/multimedia player

Is it worth adding a DAC to increase the audio quality from the PS3 for movies and music. I use the system for both - movies and music are either bluray/CD's or mpeg/mp3 formats

Currently have my PS3 (with 3 external hard drives connected with a usb hub) connected via hdmi to my onkyo receiver...
