I grew up with gas stoves, hobs and heaters in the house with never any problems. Various friends and family members have gass grill "braais" and I'm contemplating getting one for that quick alternative to a wood fired braai. Just saw this ESPN report on an accident involving one of their presenters and I was wondering if locally available gas grills can present the same danger. I thought all gas appliances have automatic gas cut-off when the flame goes out?
