I've been experiencing some playback problems with my Denon since moving to Denmark. It's not even a year old yet and I really don't want to have to replace it. My wife is still a bit annoyed with me for having spent R5000 on a DVD player.

It seems to work perfectly most of the time, just certain Danish DVDs (with no scratches) seem to give problems. For instance, I would put the DVD in and it would fail to play automatically so I would then press play. It would then jump immediately to the menu, by passing the usual legal stuff and trailers. The disc would then play without a hitch until the last two chapters, which, no matter what, it refuses to access. The DVD would work perfectly on my other DVD players (360, laptop and VCR/DVD combo).

Is my Denon screwed? Or could it be some quirk of the Scandinavian distributors authoring of the DVD itself which doesn't gel with my Denon? If consensus is the later, it would give me some piece of mind that it's their fault and not my poor Denon's. I have the latest firmware and the player is well ventilate.
