First of all; I have read most interesting questions and answers on this forum.
I cannot find detailed specs on the web on my Denon AVR1306 receiver. The specs state 75w rms per channel into 8ohm from 20-20khz and 110w rms into 6ohm @ 1khz.
I have two questions 1) does anyone know what the RMS and dynamic output at 4 -and 2 ohms(if the amp. can handle it at all, that is), are respectively, and 2) is the Direct mode setting the same as Pure Direct? The Direct mode bypasses the tone controls but does not switch-off the display. I always use this option when listening to CDs and LPs and it sounds crisper than Stereo(even with tone-defeat activated).
