The forum is a very small place compared to Facebook.Hundreds of people vs millions.A lot of people I've sold to have never heard of this forum, a couple of people strongly dislike this forum ( I don't ask why and I steer those conversations to something relivant to the deal at hand), on occasion I meet a buyer through Facebook who is on the forum.I enjoy this forum, it is changing, yes, but still a wealth of knowledge here which I find very valuable.Just not my 1st choice to list gear anymore since I became a trader and I rely on buying and selling as an almost primary income. Quickest, most hassle free sale takes preference, as does someone who doesn't try argue over my price - the forum, unfortunately does not provide that experience.Buying and selling is not my primary reason for being here though.
