I bought 'sound' for my TV room - I have spent quite a bit more than my original budget.
My budget was +-R15000, I ended up paying R26499 for a Receiver and speakers..
Denon AVR X3000
Polk Audio TSI400
No Sub
Now I am just curious - if I had bought a home theater system from Dion wired for lets say R10 000.00 (LG - TALL BOY HOME THEATRE) I would have gotten the following features/stuff - keeping in mind it is R15000.00 less than what I paid - I don't know the quality of the home theaters they sell in the shops but is the sound of an AV Receiver that much better for the price difference?:
