Wondered this after spinning local pressings of Stevie Wonder - Songs in the key of life and Joan Armatrading albums with the song 'Baby I'. Stevie's 'Love is in need of a love today' and 'Baby I' have no treble on my copies. That just happens to be how they sounded on Radio Bantu back in the day. Unfortunately I don't have import copies to compare these 2 track. However generally I find this to be a common trait of local pressings, thus my question. Anyone know if there was a policy or preference on import vs. local pressings? I'll listen on the radio ;-)
