The dishwasher is broken. This means I have less time to listen to music because I have to dry the dishes. My wife will oppose any upgrades if the dishwasher is not fixed first  ::). OK so she seldom if ever agrees with any hi-fi upgrades...

The white appliance standing in the way of my next upgrade is a Bosch dishwasher. So far I have removed the pipe systems and chambers on the left hand side and cleaned those, so now the water at least flows in and out. I think the problem may be with that control that sets the programme. It springs into action once the control is advanced to the first position, but then "rests" for a while while the machine makes noise but does nothing. At times I can hear the little timing gears in the control moving, but at other times it's dead quiet. I am worried because I had another machine with control problems and it did not make economic sense to fix it.

All advice welcome  ;D
