Anyone with the ERA cd , The Mass, by Universal Music, Bar code 6009143035836, please advise: on track 1 from 26 seconds in to about the end (and track 2, 30 seconds, the singer's voice distorts); mostly my left channel displays lower mid range distortion. I cannot hear similar distortion on any other well recorded cd, but also on some other (sub-par) cd's but would like peace of mind.
If someone can confirm it is on the recording, I can be sure it is not my system. I swapped speakers between CM9s, Maggies, and Infinity Primus 250's. Not that audible on the Infinity's though. I also played the same tracks off the Mede8er and the actual cd's.
