Dixon Products, any thoughts?

I feel a bit embarrassed for starting this thread, but what do you guys think about Dixon Products? Most of them look good and sound good and is pretty rock bottom budget, but would you consider to buy some of their Audio products? My dad bought the Dixon K2250USB Amp (sold it a few months ago) with the Dixon SDJ1001 Combo for my grandma's birthday party, the amp looked really strong but it's sounded pretty :cr@p: on virtually any speaker setup, what does one expect from a PA amp anyway? It had a pretty smart built with a fan that would come on whenever you turn the volume high enough. As for the speakers, they weren't too bad until we opened it up to see whats inside. The speakers were poorly soldered with very thin wires, a little bit thicker than the insides of some telephone wire. Literally blobbed just to make a connection between the pins and the ends of the wires. After replacing it with thicker wire the bass had a noticeable boost, the specs claim it has a freq. response of 20Hz to 20KHz, peak power 250W rated power at 100W with a sensitivity of 89dB. Though my Blaupunkt amp has no trouble driving it.
