I'm a newbee to the forum and to the AV scene.
Would like to find out if anyone can help me with connecting up my home entertainment system?
I currently have:
LG 42PX4MVH-TA HD ready Plasma TV (1 x HDMI Input);
Pace HD PVR (1 x HDMI Output);
LG DV492H-SP DVD player (1 x HDMI Output);
Onkyo TX-SR307 5.1 A/V Receiver (1 x HDMI Output; 3xHDMI Inputs)
I connected all the components (PVR to CBL/SAT slot; DVD to the DVD slot and then the pass through output to the TV?s input) to each other with HDMI cables only as I assumed the cables supported audio and video thus not having to use RCA?s.
The problem that I have is that there is no picture and no sound unless I use the HDMI and RCA?s together. Hope you all can help and would be much appreciated.
