I may be experiencing a seemingly real perception of something not actually present.

I recently made up 3 power cables for my subwoofer , blu ray player and AV amp. Basically I went to Voltex and bought thick 3 core power cable , heavy duty rubber plugs  and 3 pin connectors ( not sure the name of them). Made it up and insulted the one end further with heat shrink. Looks professional.

Its way thicker than the standard power cables the above came with.

1. Subwoofer : the sound is more defined and crisp.
2. Blu Ray player : The standby light is now brighter. Picture seems more depth with color.
3. AV amp : Seems like the separation has improved with more definition in sound.

To be frank. I dont know if I am imagining these improvements or they are actually real.
