I am looking to start building a push-pull Class AB EL84 stereo valve amp soon.
I have the input transformer(s) and two EL84 output transformers.
I have come across the Il Terzo by Giuseppe Amato, and I like his approach and design.
It all seems clear and simple (well thought out, and well explained in his book) and the schematic is available,
as is the parts list.
I have the required valves, so all good there, too.

The only issue (so far) is that my OPT do not have 40% taps, so I cannot build it in an "Ultra Linear" configuration - correct?
So my first question is, what is the way around building this design, but not as UL?
Secondly - any other thoughts on this design? Any reason I should NOT build it?
Thirdly - if not, which design should I consider?
Lastly - any other advice?
