I recently moved house and I found my old car subs still in their enclosure. I have replaced the one driver now and then saw I now have a 4 Ohm and a 8 Ohm speaker in the box :moron:... I'll modify that box and fit only the 8Ohm

I would need an amplifier to drive this single coil sub... and I would LOVE to build my own. Electronics is not a problem (I am not an analogue engineer though, digital is my speciality :thumbs
. I just want to know, from the people in the know, what should I look out for and is there any specific amplifier type I should use or avoid? No kits, thats not what I want to do. I want my own build :rubhands:
