I need some black foam material for a speaker repair of a client.
It is an old AR94 , if you take of the grill it has black acoustic foam around the midrange and the dome tweeters.
I contacted AR Vintage in the USA and they don't sell the foam anymore , only some pieces of black acoustic material.
I have already re-foamed the woofers and put on new grill cloth -but I cannot find black sponge or foam material anywhere, only white and Grey..
I have been to a few foam shops , but only white and grey- Can one color it maybe?
If you know of any please inform me. As this is the 3rd pair of AR's that I repair that needs such material. My AR9's also has the same material, but is still fine.
