So here is my DQOTD:
Speaker Cabling: somehow I got it into my mind that cabling with very good insulation was needed (i.e. thick plastic around the metal threads). I found some decent stuff at builder's warehouse. I later found out it was electric cabling. Very very thick, and the 'copper' strands are very hard.
In hindsight, perhaps this cabling is not the best bet to link my Marantz SR5007 to my Jamo S606 HCS3 front speakers (they're no more than 2m away from the AVR) e.g. perhaps the cabling offers too much 'resistance' and therefore I'm not getting the most out of the speakers.
What cabling should I consider that is readily available from e.g. HiFi Corp or similar ? or is the cabling that I have not doing any harm to the sound quality ?
