Dolby TrueHD vs DTS HD Master audio

watched two movies over the wknd with both audio formats - DTS HD Master audio wins every time for me. its almost as if Dolby TrueHD is softer, with less impact - almost flat ( to my untrained ears anyway)
what do you guys prefer?
interesting with the new Dolby atmos format being released versus the upcoming DTS UHD format which is their answer to Atmos
