Needed a NANO sim as new phone requires these.  Pop along to Blue Route store and see lady, take RICA docs along.  Everything fine, but demand the last 4 numbers I called.  I say I don't know as numbers are stored as names and I never use the number, except when I edit the phone book.  Not good enough she says, cannot do you a swap.  Demand she call 084140 (the call centre) - after 20 mins on the phone and being transferred from one person to the other, she has the go-ahead to issue it.  Now for the security questions...  1 - What is your street address?  14 A.... Road I say.  No, that is wrong.  But I say, I have been living there for 31 years.  No, she has P O Box 18262 on her screen, so that is one wrong answer.  2 - Who did you work for?  I rattle off the name of my business and shop.  No that is wrong, you worked for "self-employed"

By now I was fed up dealing with this incompetent and asked for the manager.  This aggressive lady comes out and says what is the problem, so I relate the above.  She takes over and gives me the SIM for R10

Alas, it does not work so I go back.  Yes, they agree, it is faulty, but cannot do another SIM swap for 72 hours, so I must come back again.  The lady wanted to know when I inserted the SIM, so I say 12h00 the previous day.  There she is counting on her fingers how much time has elapsed, but gets confused since it is more than 10.  Is it more than 4 hours she asks?

I wonder how these people get employed.  Here they are dealing with the public and rolling their eyes when you give an answer they don't like
