I've been thinking of delving into the world of drones specifically a gyrocopter just for recreation, nothing pro. Anyone here own one, tried/demo'd one and can give recommendations?
There are so many options internationally yet as usual here we seem to have a limited choice. The Parrot Bebop seems to be popular despite its alleged flaws. Becomes a bit pricey when you add the skycontroller for max features and abilities.
The Hubsan X4 is a lot smaller and significantly cheaper and is probably a good place to start and to practice.
www.coptershop.co.za seems to be the best one stop shop, but my word my credit card is going to unhappy
