Got a broken decoder took it to DSTV and Benoni Car Radio the only depot close to Delmas.
The customer service guy tells me nothing wrong with the decoder just needs a software update
Took it home it does not want to boot up.
Phone Benoni Car Radio and I am told it could be the power supply.
Just to be sure I take it to the local DSTV installer he tells me there is definitely something wrong since it took three attempts to get it to boot up.
Saturday
It take the decoder bavck to Benoni Car Radio.
Where I am told to take a seat like a naughty boy and wait while they check it note they will not exchange the the decoder if it boots up 5 times in a row.
Second attempt it fails.
I am then told that they really don?t think that there is anything wrong with the decoder but will swap it because I insist.
Note that Benoni Car Radio does not have a card to match the decoder I am given so when it get home again the decoder is not working.
Wondering why so many folks are dumping DSTV....?
