I am finding chan 255 crime , chan 183 and E! have a lot of artefacts and often semi freeze or lose sound , I have a SD pvr with a dual lnb and dual view,
Checked the connections to the PVR and the aerial wire terminations , cleaned em etc - not much change - signal strength etc all in the low 90's
Im not sure if my PVR is fuxored , I have done factory resets , got DSTV to do resets , rescanned etc - the fan that cools the hd is DOA and we run it with the top off. Could it be heat relatyed - and why only those 3 chans - other chans that get signal from the same wire are 100%?
I dunno what to do , I would like HD on my main TY system , but there is no 2 out record 1 HD PVR- I could get a hd pvr and a simple decoder for the 2nd view channel (my kid) , but she wants PVR functionality and to do that I need 2 HD pvrs...
Whats a good solution ... I'm not really all that stuck on HD ... but it would be nice
