I have a 4P HD PVR and SD PVR. I took my SD PVR in and they gave me a replacement one. It was tested together with my HD and they both played well but somehow I cant get the SD to play at home.
My connections are as follows:
2 cables from LNB to a 6 socket multi switch
4 cables from splitter into HD PVR
2 cables from splitter into Horizontal and vertical connections of SD PVR
1 cable from HD PVR RF out to TV in the bedroon
cable from HD PVR RF in into SD PVR TV1/TV2
HD PVR plays well but SD doesnt. I called Multichoice and they mentioned something about getting a splitter that splits that jions the cable running from HD PVR RF out into bedroom and cable connecting HDD and SD PVR.
I dont understand why this is necessary as I used to play both decoders without a splitter. Is it maybe my connections that are wrong? Pls help
