I have two HD TV's connected to the first gen HD PVR. One with the PVR's HDMI, the other with the component video output.
The second TV rarely gets used, so I hooked it up with the cheapest component video cable I could find. Its thin and its 15m long.
The TV connected to the component cable shows it is receiving a 576 interlaced signal, while the one connected to the HDMI shows 720p. The PVR is set to output 720p.
Can anyone explain the difference? Would a decent component cable solve the problem?
