Hi.
About to cave in to family pressure and hook up my home cinema to 'the world outside'...
We don't have DSTV at the moment - the HC is just too much fun - but with the Olympics coming - and no end to the rain in sight, it's time to take the plunge and go talk to Multichoice ???
My projector is a full 1080p HD Panasonic PT-AE 3000 connected to a Samsung BD-C6900 Blu Ray player (with ethernet connectivity).
Sound is through a NAD T742 (no HDMI) 5.1 surround which is awesome.
The previous owners of the house left their dish behind - not sure how good it is.
Question is: Which HD decoder should I buy ?
And, is this all that I'll need to get the absolute optimum image onto my screen ?
And, finally, any recommendations as to what option/package to take out on my DSTV package ?
