Hi,
I'm going to be adding a second sub to my system shortly. Now that I've almost got the money together I'm getting a little more serious about the technical considerations.

I took the time this morning to measure my sub in it's current position as well as the position in which I plan on placing my second sub (which is alongside each of my fronts, equidistant from my seated postion).

Now my questions, both positions measure very similarly. When averaged together the response curve is slightly smoother than either alone, but not by much.

1. Will this be the likely result once my new sub arrives?

2. Or do I have it wrong, as I've read comments on other forums that two subs can actually cancel each other out, which is obviously the last thing I want.

3. And lastly, do you think a second sub is worth it if the response is not all that much different (only my seated position is a consideration)?
