I almost forgot about this one
A friend had his DVDP connected to the TV only and was satisfied with the volume he was getting from this(some noname brand TV)
As he had a stereo setup(NAD 320 amp, PSB speakers) I suggested that he connect the DVDP to the stereo amp, expecting a huge jump in sonic quality.
Ironically, he has to turn the amp to way past 12 'o clock to get decent volume when playing a DVD whereas when playing a CD, the volume is generally set to around 9 'o clock. Is this normal?
