i have recently purchased a rotel 993 to drive my front three speakers which are Dynaudio (4ohms). until then i was using my marantz receiver. a power amp was recommended to me, 'if i really wanted the Dynos to sing'. so the rotel 993 looked like the ideal solution. now as good an amp is it is, it just does not work well with the Dynos. in fact my marantz 5008 sounded much better.
can somebody recommend something? any idea which amp is best for Dynos? i would prefer to power all front three channels but i guess i could be content with powering just the front two and let the receiver do the rest.
im considering letting go of the rotel power amp, sale or swap.
