guy flew down from PE to buy my Camaro..R95k.
Scottish gent , but he has no internet banking.
Arrived here at 12.30 sat , decided to buy the car and then went to tygervalley to get himself on the internet..
no problem , he and his appy , who is also his IT guru , tried to do a payment to to me ,
I stressed a zillion times that the payment must be an INSTANT payment.
Anyway to cut a long story short , they did a normal payment and it has not yet reflected in my acc.
Im FNb , he is nedbank.
The payment was done at 13.45 sat , nedbank recons it will only be in my acct tommorrow!!!!!!!!!! (tues)
so this poor guy has had to get a hotel room for sat night , sun night and maybe tonight...
He needs to drive home , work and all.
he wants me to go to the bank with him today that they can reassure me the transaction is going thru and cant be reversed...
Im however NOT prepared to let the car go until I have the bucks in my acct. No matter how sorry I feel for him , wasnt my problem , I initially advised him to withdraw cash...
I cannot understand why an EFT can take so long to process ..its ********!!!!
