I am interested in getting a media player for playing movies and listening to music on my TV and surround sound.
As opposed to plugging in the laptop everytime.
I have researched the Mede8er range and it seems like a good deal.
I then discovered another Media Player: the Egreat http://www.comx.co.za/EG-R4A-Egreat-EG-R4A-Media-Tank-HD-Media-Player-Information-Price-Buy-Cheap-p-40704.php
It appears at first glance to hand all the video and audio codecs that the Mede8er handle as well as a external HDD enclosure,
also has HDMI 1.3
So, it seems that it does the same thing for about a third of the price.
My dad would like one to play his M2TS files from his HD camcorder on the TV.
My use as explained above.
Can anyone say Yay or Nay or point me in another direction?
