So I'm pretty good with DIY but don't know much about electricity so need some help here please!
I have two garden lights (style- metal pole set in concrete with plastic dome screw off tops)
I want to extend the two lights to four.
I've dug up the current end light and have found the electric cable coming from the first light but it's set in the concrete so I can't easily get to it. The cable comes from under the ground, goes into the concrete base and I'm pretty sure that it then travels up the inside of the metal hollow pole.
Could I do the following?
1. Take off plastic dome
2. Take out bulb and fitting
3. Find cable that comes up the metal pole
What do I do next? Do I cut the cable and add in a joiner of sorts that will then allow me to run a new cable from light 2 to lights 3 and 4?
Hope someone can point me in the right direction on this one!
Cheers
Daniel
