I have a energizer for my electric fence. There is an Alarm output, 12V DC.
Having moved the energizer to the laundry and having had to extend the Comms Cable run from the Siren Output to my Alarm Control Panel via a 12V Relay, the alarm no longer activates on FAULT.
The output voltage at point reads 13.6 V and at relay it's down to 1.2V. (At the halfway point it reads 7V)

How can I get the voltage to remain above 9V DC over ?30 meters?
