Hi Forum people -- first time poster, hoping for some advice on electronics tech in Cape Town (I've searched the archives but didn't find nuffink).
I have an Onkyo AV receiver that won't turn on - it seems to be picking up a fault in the overload circuit and shutting down on startup. Circumstantial evidence is that it's a fault in the overload sensor circuitry (since it's not actually plugged into speakers or a source...). I've tried the "software reset" stuff in the manual to no avail.
I don't want to send it to Onkyo 'cause it means shipping to JHB and a whacking great bill -- so anyone have experience with a good tech in the CT area? ???
Rgds
Roger
