Bought from a fine gentlemen (Grant from Revolution Records in CT), arrived courtesy of Post Office today.
Spent an hour setting it up and looking for that "sweet spot", and boy, did I find it! ;D
I think that this is it. My tone-dead Rega Planar 2 and a source of endless frustrations over the years has finally found it's voice - British likes British, I guess.
Listened to (still am) the representative part of my ancient vinyl collection for the past 3 hours, and it all sounds ... not just right, but definitely better than what I remember any of it sounding in the past!
Lovely cart. Period.
The chain: Goldring Eroica LX, Rega Planar 2 with RB250 (stock standard), Ortofon T-10, Musical Fidelity A120, Acoustat "3" ESLs.
