Have you ever wondered what the 16 2/3 RPM setting on some old turntables are for? I often have and the explanation has always been vague, Oh it is for broadcast use for 16 inch low fi stuff like ads or for some educational stuff in the home-you know "Trimming your pet elephant's toe nails in four easy steps" etc. But I have never actually seen such a record.
