May I humbly take the opportunity to once again convey my sincere thanks and appreciation towards Valve Audio for excellent service
Background:
A while back I ordered a new Valve Audio Predator amp. The amp arrived beautifully and very well built. When I contacted Schalk some time later I mentioned to him that I noticed that the 1x heat sink is VERY slightly (and I mean thousands of a millimeter!!) out of symmetry with the other heat sink. May I say that this was NOT very noticeable and that I might just be only person on the planet who could have noticed it (me being a sort of perfectionist) ???
Schalk immediately requested that I send the amp back to him so that he can sort it out. I was expecting him to only just align the heat sinks again, but I was very surprised when he told me he was going to built me a complete new amp from scratch.
Well, he kept his promise and I received the new amp back. In doing so, Schalk walked a thousand extra miles with me in order to make me a very happy customer indeed.
In order to get the amp safely back to me, he packed the amp in a "bomb-proof" wooden case 8)
He himself then drove all the way to JHB Airport to send the amp via Express Air Cargo today, only so that I can have it for the weekend!! I have never experienced such great service and is deeply humbled by this.
What a great investment! Thank you for your patience with me Schalk! I am a very happy customer
