Hello fellow Forumites and Vinyl Junkies
Can someone please explain to me how exactly the anti static brushes work? I know it removes static from the vinyls, but what quality/material does it use to do this?
Back in the day those red velvet blox were used along with some liquid on it to clean and remove static, but how exactly did it do this?
if i were to take some velvet and secure it to some firm sponge would it react in the same way.
i am in no way science inclined so plain english will do just great in this explanation. also what makes liquids anti-static? are they charged a specific way?
The reason for the questions is a found a nice piece of brown velvet in the missus cupboard and want to use it possibly as a method to clean my vinyls. Keep in mind i have all the other standard capitalist issue goodies to keep them clean.
I know there are some clever oakies here that can clear this for me.
