hey oakes. I have a Luxman PD300, which is a great machine but for some reason it creates a lot of static while playing , I've never experienced anything like it before on any of my machines (must be due to the fact that it sucks records into place). Neat feature but must be responsible for excess static.
So today My dad asked me to take him to his regular electronic spare shop (he is building me a valve amp, yeappyy-but thats besides the point); they had an antystatic spray aerosol and it's recomended for records too, so I purchased it (R158.00).
Man does it work, no more static for me :Whoohoo:; It's called "ANTISTATIC" and it's made by CRAMOLIN; so if youre suffering the same fate give it a try. just thought I'd let you know.
