I have stripped my Lenco 75 of everything and have sanded here down to bare metal

As i have removed the arm on most of my decks - it has left a few holes which i would like to fill

What i did was stick a piece of metal to the underside of the top plate which would leave me a small area to fill

My question is - i bought a tin of metal body filler (Sprayon) with the tube of hardener - is this the right product to use or would the metal body putty (Sprayon) be better and easier to handle
