We've had a pretty dry summer thus far with only a handful of short thunderstorms. That changed last night - 70mm inside 90 minutes, the roads looked like rivers in places and I was really glad to be driving my wife's Forrester back from Mimos. My son and his cousin Caleb (from the UK) thought it was great having water spray up both sides of the car, higher than the windows. Caleb was in awe of the thunder and lightning that accompanied the downpour, having never experienced anything like it before
