I would like to know how close one can install a build in fireplace to electricity cables. I have electrity cables in conduits under the floor covered by concrete slab. Can I put a fire place on top of that slab or is thee a risk of the cables burning/melting. I can raise the fireplace by about 2 bricks above the concrete slab. Will that be sufficient or it's a no no?
