I guess I have to own up and admitted that I somehow killed my amp modules. I have berated myself sufficiently now :vsad: :whip: and need to see whether I can salvage anything.
I honestly don't know what went wrong - tried to connect a pre-amp; I saw the one speaker cable was disconnected but not sure if that happened in my panic of trying to figure out where the strange smell was coming from
Where do I start? Can't see any visible damage ... the led comes on when it starts up but I can hear that nothing gets passed through to the speaker - previously I could hear a very soft noise or popping when fiddling with connections. Do I just need to figure how to measure each and every component and go for it? Or is there an order of priority of likely damages that I can follow (e.g. first check resistors, then caps etc.)
