Ja, this was the last time this 4002 last played. I guess this was the longest and most difficult repair/restore I ever did.

I had international assistance, advice, tips, clues and many more from Israel, Denmark, France, Mexico, the USA and England.

It's playing as I write, the covers are still not fitted properly as a few more things need to be done. Note the rca jacks and IEC socket I fitted for quick removal to the local skip ;D Actually, it sounds quite respectable.

Along this difficult road, I turned the motor to toast (totally and comprehensively) as well as a corner of its main pcb.

Not quite sure what I'm going to do with it after all this self-inflicted masochism ::)
