Is there any correlation? ie. does more sensitive speakers sound better at low volumes than inefficient speakers?
Spending time with my HiFi playing in the background at low levels I again realised that it actually sounds crap because of the Fletcher-Munson effect (https://www.extron.com/article/loudnesscontrol_ts).
I know I raised this issue a few years ago as well but really miss the old crude 'loudness' button on the amp and so wish it could be implemented in current amplifiers?
I realise it is a combination of the amp and your chosen speakers but pretty sure it can be configured with a mic setup in ones room.
