Just wondering whether people using Logitech Media Server would find it useful to be able to browse similar albums in their collection when browsing their library, playing an album etc., as well as potentially being able to explore web based links to similar albums not in their collection?  The metadata would be sourced from places like last.fm e.g. John Mellencamp's album Scarecrow might link to the following suggested albums:

John Mellencamp - 20th Century Masters: Millennium Collection
John Fogerty - Revival
Bruce Springsteen - Born in the U.S.A.
Jason & the Scorchers - Essential, Vol. 1 (Are You Ready for the Country?)
Nils Lofgren - Nils Lofgren
Maria McKee - Ultimate Collection
Los Lobos - Wolf Tracks: The Best of Los Lobos
Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers - Americano
John Hiatt - Dirty Jeans and Mudslide Hymns
BoDeans - American Made
Jason & the Scorchers - The EMI Years
Tom Petty / Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers - Damn the Torpedoes
Bob Seger / Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band - Night Moves
Dave Alvin - Blue Blvd/Museum of Heart
BoDeans - Indigo Dreams
Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers - Real to Reel
The Allman Brothers Band - Hittin' the Note
The Beatles - 1
Steve Earle - Guitar Town
Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers - Greatest Hits [1993]
Nils Lofgren - Damaged Goods
BoDeans - Love & Hope & Sex & Dreams
Jason & the Scorchers - Wildfires and Misfires: Two Decades of Outtakes and Rarities
Son Volt - A Retrospective: 1995-2000
Tom Petty - Full Moon Fever
Steve Earle - Copperhead Road
T-Bone Burnett - Truth Decay
Mudcrutch - Mudcrutch
Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers - Unida Cantina
Grateful Dead - To Terrapin: Hartford '77
Bob Seger - Beautiful Loser
Patti Scialfa - Play It as It Lays
Neil Young - This Note's for You
The Long Ryders - Anthology
Jimi Hendrix - Experience Hendrix: The Best of Jimi Hendrix
Billy Joel - Greatest Hits, Vols. 1 & 2 (1973-1985)
Elton John - Greatest Hits
Lone Justice - Lone Justice
Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing: The Very Best of Dire Straits
Tom Cochrane - No Stranger
The Del Fuegos - Boston, Mass.
Led Zeppelin - How the West Was Won
John Cougar - Nothin' Matters and What If It Did
Nick Lowe - Quiet Please: The New Best of Nick Lowe
Bob Seger / Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band - Against the Wind
Dave Edmunds - The Anthology (1968-1990)
Jesse Ed Davis - Jesse Davis/Ululu

If any of the above were in your collection you could play/navigate to the album, if not you could click through to a web based reference containing album details, whether it be a last.fm, wikipedia entry or simply the results of a google search...
