After a lot of deferent speakers I have owned in my life I felt in love with fullrange Fostex speakers ( thanks to Andre ) and all horn loaded small SET powered speakers. But then I came across these hens teeth Fostex speakers and away with flea power and single driver and back to horse power Class A amps for these. Some say its not good and other say by the looks it cant sound good at all but let me tell you this 12" paper cone with double spider coils and a 80mm voice coil with a 180mm magnet 94db`s does not sit and wait for power, they start kicking from the word go and with the most beautiful dry bass and midrange and very close as nippy as the Fostex 126`s and very good treble with the " ribbon "
I will stick to them for a long time.
So my phone got stolen so just this one picture so far, this is the original boxes but the wife said they are bigger they most of the stuff in our house so they need a dress up or must leave the house. I build new Birch Ply boxes to spec and received all new crossover parts so they will look like new again but with an vintage look and more feel from the wife. Will post the build later
