Our company has a printer / copier contract with Nashua. They also supply toner (ink) - this is included in the contract. Fraudsters now phone our accounts team and pretend that Nashua has no stock of toner and that they've been appointed to handle the emergency toner supply, at a "nominal" price of just below R4 per cartridge. Apparently very slick and they sound courteous and professional.
They claim that 12 have already been telephonically "ordered" and they even sent an invoice, all nicely done in MS Word, complete with an address in Jhb. Fortunately alert staff members became suspicious so nothing was paid. The "company" is called "First Golden Stationers", they even gave us their Nedbank banking details...
