I played a frequency sweep on youtube on the systems in my living rooms. In one of my living rooms the base completely dissapeared around 40-50 hz. Moved the sub around until it sounded consistent throughout.
I was surprised by how much it dropped away - it was nearly completely silent in that range... probably should have tested it this way ages ago!
Is there some caveats to doing it this way?
