I had a Bo-Bo last week with my stereo. The Hi Fi was switch on when I disconnected my Video Cam from the TV, and the RCA cable, one side still connected to the TV dropped and the connector fell on the power amps speaker connector.

It made a terrible Blup Blup sound on the speakers, so I switch everything off immediately.
Later switched the HiFi on, but only a Buzzz sound came from the speakers, which increase in level as the volume is turned up. I thought my amp is moer toe. Yesterday I connected the JB Systems pro amp to the system, and got the same symptoms. What a relief to know its not my power amp.

I replaced the preamp with a mixer, and fault is gone on both amps.

So the preamp seems to be faulty. However, if I connect the DVDP to the preamp, and the preamp output to the TV (playing the sound through the TV), there is no sign og a buzzing sound  :-\

I'm a little confused with what is happening here
