Just curious on the variance of fuel between open road and traffic that you guys get?
Mine seems to be pretty large!
I had a Volvo C30 T5 manual (2.5 petrol turbo) for 3 years and my consumption was roughly 16 litres/100km ... that's 95% traffic. I took it once on the open road and got a 8.6l/100km - almost half.
I've just bought another C30 T5 but auto box ... expecting it to have better consumption in traffic and more importantly, be smoother and easy to drive. While it is smoother and easier to drive, my first tank of petrol in 95% traffic was 18.5l/100km and I got 288km off the tank.
Is your variance between traffic and open road driving as large as this? I think the open road cruising figure on the old one is great and I'll be testing the new one in 2 months
