We are now doing the award winning Fyne Audio brand in SA.
Fyne Audio is a "new" brand. I say "new" because it's actually all the ex guys from Tannoy. Tannoy was bought out and the guys are some of the most passionate in the industry. Between them they have over 200 years experience. They'd had enough of been told to build speakers to hit certain price points or use old stock they had in hand to build a new range. We have always tried to look for brands that give you the best overall system. Based on price as well as quality. Some brands are really great but locally price can be as much as double. Other brands the price is right but the brand is inferior. We are really trying to keep Fyne Audio at the same price point as it is in the UK and we have found that we can offer, in most cases, a range above for the competitors speakers.
Fyne Audio have won the prestigious : What-Hi-Fi's Best floorstanding speaker under ?500? for the F302 , What-HiFI Best floorstanding speaker ?1000 - ?1500" for our F501 and keep winning across all ranges. Which is unheard of for a "new" company.

But we understand that nobody wants to buy something they haven't heard or seen. Our problem is that there are less and less retailers in the industry where you can audition gear. So we are offering a Home Trial. It's tricky to implement, but we are going to give it a go for a while and see how we do. Our concern is theft, misuse and damage to speakers. So for the 300 series, 500 series and F series subs you would need to let us know what you are interested in. Pay for the speakers. You can keep them for three days. We ship to you on a Monday and back to us on a Friday. If you like them we send you a brand new pair. If not you get a full refund as long as the speakers haven't been damaged on your side. We cover the cost for freight. We only want to send one pair of each model out, as nobody likes buying second hand gear. But if you feel the pair you have received on demo are in perfect condition then we can negotiate on these too. We would need to book for the home trial speakers to get to you as we don't want to open lots of new sets.
